Bump-it

Account creation and linking your point of sale

Creating the account

  1. On the login screen, click Create an account (bottom right). Existing users log in here instead.
  2. Fill in your details. The point-of-sale field is labelled Select API — not “point of sale”.
  3. Check the time zone is correct.
  4. Tick I agree to the terms, then Register.
  5. Log in with your email and password.

Select API matters. It is the point-of-sale integration field. If the wrong one is picked, no orders will reach the bump screen.

The customer creates and owns their own account, in their own name.

The Dashboard

After logging in you land on the Dashboard. It tracks setup progress with a tick or a cross against each step. The left sidebar is Dashboard · Sites · Support · Report.

Linking the point of sale (Bump-it — Lightspeed K-Series or IMPOS)

  1. Click Sites in the left sidebar, then + Link New Account.
  2. The Gateway page opens with Select POS Integration. Click your point of sale and follow the prompts, which include entering your access keys.
  3. Wait for the sync. Each step reports Success: Company, Sites, Staff, Registers, Product Categories, Products, Setup New Webhooks.
  4. When Sync Complete appears it says “Please log out of this site and head back into the app now.”
  5. Press Logout in the left sidebar. Logging out is what refreshes your application — it is not an optional step.
  6. Back in the app the screen is greyed out with a single ⟳ Refresh button in the middle. Click it.
  7. Your company name appears as the top banner with each venue listed below it.

Linking the point of sale (Lightspeed Bump Screen — Lightspeed O-Series)

+ Link New Account goes straight to the Lightspeed Back Office login for Lightspeed Restaurant POS (O-Series). Sign in with your Lightspeed account, wait for the sync to finish, then press Logout and return to the app. The greyed-out ⟳ Refresh step is the same.

Re-syncing products later

Sites → ⟳ Sync POS re-syncs products from the POS. This is different from linking the account — use it when new products have been created in the POS and you want them pulled through.

What each site row shows

Each venue is a row under your company banner, with Display-It · Read Only · Device · Settings buttons, plus a green Go to bump screen button once a device exists.
